Arun Nalla

I’m a Software Engineer based in Hyderabad, India (GMT+5:30) ↗. I enjoy building products from scratch and solving problems around scalability, performance, and distributed systems. While my primary focus is backend platforms and infrastructure, I also work on the frontend to build cohesive, end-to-end user experiences.

I believe good software comes from balancing simplicity, reliability, and maintainability. I like collaborating with people who care about building thoughtful products and writing code that’s easy to reason about.

Outside of work, I spend some of my time building AI applications and exploring the systems behind them, from model serving and inference optimization to retrieval, evaluation, and production deployment. I also read about software engineering and tinker with self-hosted open-source tools and follow sports — I rarely miss a good game.
